Robert Arthur, Jr (n. 10 de noviembre de 1909, Corregidor, Filipinas - † 2 de mayo de 1969, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, EE. UU.). Escritor norteamericano conocido fundamentalmente por su creación de la serie de libros juveniles Los Tres Investigadores. También trabajó en la serie Alfred Hitchcock Presenta

Graduado por la Universidad de Michigan, publicó numerosos relatos en diferentes revistas entre 1930 y 1940. Ganó dos veces el Premio Edgar al mejor Drama para Radio, otorgado por la Mistery Writers of America
