El Skeptical Inquirer es una revista bimestral estadounidense en idioma inglés, fundada en 1976, publicada por el Committee for Skeptical Inquiry, antiguamente conocido como Comité para la Investigación Científica de las Afirmaciones Paranormales (CSICOP, por su sigla inglesa).

El contenido consiste en artículos sobre temas científicos o pretendidamente sobrenaturales u ocultos, con su correspondiente explicación o intento de explicación científico, además de columnas de opinión, críticas literarias y correo de lectores.

Esta publicación tiene su sede en Amherst, en el estado de Nueva York.

Historia

La revista se titulaba originalmente The Zetetic ("Buscador escéptico"), y fue en un principio creada y editada por Marcello Truzzi. El primer número fue publicado en el otoño boreal de 1976. Al año siguiente fue rebautizada con su nombre actual y Kendrick Frazier (ex editor de Science News) se convirtió en su nuevo editor. En 1995 comenzó a ser publicada en tamaño de revista. En enero del año siguiente, adoptó el subtítulo de La revista para la ciencia y la razón.

Actualmente, Frazier continúa como editor y Benjamin Radford es el editor manager.
