Steve Scott Harwell (9 de enero de 1967, Santa Clara, California) es un cantante estadounidense. Es el vocalista principal de las bandas Smash Mouth y Radio Angel.

Formó la banda de rock Smash Mouth en 1994 junto a Greg Camp, Kevin Coleman, y Paul De Lisle. Aunque previamente estuvo en el grupo de rap F.O.S.

Harwell destacó por su aparición en la sexta temporada del programa de VH1, Surreal Life, y ha aparecido en muchos otros programas de televisión y radio, también actuó en la película Ratas a la Carrera.

Harwell ha recibido las influencias musicales de Van Halen, The Waterboys, y Elvis Presley. algunas de sus canciones en Smash Mouth son: All Star, I'm A Believer y Walking On The Sun.

Vida personal

En julio del 2001 el hijo de Harwell, Presley, murió por una leucemia linfática aguda con sólo 6 meses. Consecuentemente, Harwell creó una fundación médica para la investigación en nombre de Presley.
