Ashur es un personaje ficticio. Dentro del juego de rol Vampiro: La Mascarada, es el antediluviano y fundador del clan Capadocio, o clan de la muerte. También es conocido como Cappadocius, pues se decía provenía de la región turca de Capadocia. De todas formas su identidad no siempre está clara y en otras fuentes se apunta a que podría tratarse de otro Antediluviano o quizás de un miembro de la Segunda Generación de Caín. Otros nombres que utilizaba eran Laodiceo y Sargón.

Laodiceo/ Sargón / Ashur seguía El Camino del Cielo y además de ser el fundador del Clan de la Muerte conocido como Clan Capadocio se sospecha que también pudo ser el creador de los temibles e infernales Baali.
