En medicina, la tendinosis o comúnmente llamada tendinitis crónica es una acumulación de pequeñas lesiones en el tendón, que no cicatrizan, es una lesión crónica de no curación. No se puede ver esta lesión en el exterior del cuerpo. Sus síntomas son dolor, no poder mover la zona del tendón. Se diagnostica con radiografías, ecografías o resonancias magnéticas. Su tratamiento es el reposo y hacer ejercicios fisioterapéuticos.
