Historia

Inicios (2002-2005)

The Moebius Curve nace a finales de 2002 de la mano de los guitarristas David Sánchez y Edu Sáez. David, natural de Girona, venía de la banda thrash Redox (2001-2003)y Edu, de Alentorn, Lleida, había pasado por las bandas locales Grow Apart y War for Glory; ambos empezaron a ensayar con Alex a la batería.

Buscando completar la formación fichan a Mark, que había sido cantante y guitarrista de TrevalHunt, y a Pedro, que en un principio había sido invitado como cantante pero que acabó encargándose del bajo. Este último abandona el grupo debido al éxito de su side-project Degollador y, debido a diferencias musicales con Alex, se decide contar con Isidro, el que fuese batería de las bandas hardcore mallorquinas Net Weight y Nosferatus Subworld.

Finalmente, entra en el grupo Johnny Nihil (ex-ObenRock y Hope In Vain) para ocuparse del bajo completando así una formación que dura hasta la actualidad.

Deus Ex Machina (2006-2008)

A finales de julio de 2006 empiezan a grabar su primer disco en Alp (La Cerdanya) concluyendo en noviembre de 2007 en Barcelona. Títulado Deus Ex Machina, está compuesto por nueve temas originales de la banda y dos covers (Trespass, de The Haunted, y Episode 666, de In Flames) y cuenta con un solo grabado por Oriol Saltor, guitarrista de La Puerta de los Sueños en el tema Obsolete Dreams. La grabación la lleva a cabo David (que había grabado con anterioridad para Redox y los Skamarlans), la mezcla corre a cargo de Low Cut Studio y finalmente sale editado en diciembre de 2007 de la mano de Gorvijac Music e Infernalia.

Durante esta etapa han podido compartir escenario con bandas nacionales como Vrademargk, Paintone, Haemophagia, Rise to Fall, Between the Frost, Wildlife, Noisedrome o delaBrisa
