The Nylon Curtain es un álbum de Billy Joel. Fue lanzado por CBS en 1982 y producido por Phil Ramone.

"The Nylon Curtain" fue el séptimo mejor álbum vendido de 1982, con dos millones de ventas en los Estados Unidos solamente. Fue uno de los primeros álbumes en ser grabado, mezclado y masterizado digitalmente.

El álbum es posiblemente mejor conocido por llevar la atención mundial a Allentown, Pennsylvania. En la canción "Allentown", la principal, Billy Joel canta en medio del fallecimiento de la industria de esta ciudad del este de Pensilvania. "Allentown" alcanzó el #17 en el Billboard Hot 100 de 1982 y fue una de la canciones más tocadas en la radio a principio de los 1980s.
