Tideland es una película de 2005 dirigida por Terry Gilliam. Está basada en la novela homónima de Mitch Cullin.

Sinopsis

Una pareja de drogadictos y su pequeña hija Jeliza-Rose (Jodelle Ferland) habitan una casa deshecha. La esposa muere de una sobredosis y padre e hija se trasladan a una desvencijada casa en el campo. Cuando el padre muere, la niña se construye un mundo imaginario, poblado por extraños personajes.

Premios y reconocimientos

Tideland fue presentada en la sección oficial del Festival de San Sebastián, donde ganó el Premio Fipresci de la crítica y también se pudo disfrutar en la última edición del Festival de Sitges, en la sección Europa Imaginària.
