Trapananda

Trapananda es el antiguo nombre que tenía la Patagonia Chilena u occidental. Desde siempre fue una región lejana e inhóspita para los exploradores que se aventuraron en sus tierras cubiertas de espesa selva y azotada por fuertes vientos. Recién en 1927, Carlos Ibáñez del Campo creó el Territorio de Aysén, que 10 años después se convertiría en una región más de Chile.
