You Got the Silver

You Got the Silver es una canción de la banda de rock and roll the Rolling Stones de su disco del año 1969 Let It Bleed.

Grabada el 18 de febrero de 1969, You Got the Silver fue la primera canción en la que el guitarrista Keith Richards interpreta la voz solista en exclusiva (Keith había compartido con Mick Jagger la voz solista en la canción Salt of the Earth). Composición del propio Richards, You Got the Silver parece estar inspirada en su novia de entonces, Anita Pallenberg. Brian Jones toca la cítara de acordes en la canción, una de sus dos intervenciones en el disco. La banda grabó una versión de la canción cantada por Jagger, pero optó por publicar la de Richards en el disco. La versión cantada por Jagger es desde entonces un conocido bootleg del grupo.

You Got the Silver aparece en la película de 1970 Zabriskie Point de Michelangelo Antonioni.
