21st Century Schizoid Band es un grupo de músicos que alguna vez fueron parte de King Crimson formado en 2002. El nombre deriva de la famosa canción '21st Century Schizoid Man'; del primer álbum de King Crimson, "In the Court of the Crimson King" en 1969. El grupo inicial aparece Mel Collins, en el saxofón, flauta y teclados, Michael Giles en batería, Peter Giles en el bajo, Ian McDonald en el saxofón, flauta y teclados, y acompañado por el chico nuevo (y yerno de Michael Giles) Jakko Jakszyk en guitarra y voz. La banda ha tocado en vivo con temas concentrados en las composiciones de los primeros 4 discos de King Crimson y otras obras de los catálogos de los nuevos los miembros del grupo. Han publicado cinco discos, la mayoría de los trabajos en vivo, pero incluyendo algunas nuevas composiciones. Ian Wallace, otro miembro Crimson anterior, reemplazó a Mike Giles en 2003, justo antes del tercer álbum. Wallace murió en febrero de 2007. La banda ha estado inactiva desde 2007. Ellos han tenido dificultades financieras para hacer tours sustentables y Jakszyk está considerando la posibilidad de irse. Además, ha llegado ninguna noticia sobre un posible sustituto de Ian Wallace.
