Act Of Contriction (en español Acto de Contricción) es el último corte de "Like a Prayer". Siendo una susurrante, estentóterea catarisis, una mezcla curiosa de bucles de cinta, rezos hablados, canciones gospel, una confesión en danza funky, un acto penitencial "Acto de Contriction", acabando y delineando los temas católicos que han formado para gran perte del material del álbum "Like a Prayer". Y por si fuera poco según viene en el disco, la canción está producida por "The Power That Be", que es uno de los seudónimos del cantante Prince que creó este raro tema con Madonna.

Fue la cara B del single "Like a Prayer". Contiene unos samples de guitarras eléctricas extraídas del álbum The Black Album (1994).[1]
