«Circle the Drain» (Rodear el drenaje en español) fue el segundo sencillo promocional de Katy Perry para su álbum Teenage Dream.

La canción cuando fue filtrada sorprendió a muchos fanáticos porque era un estilo nunca trabajado por Perry, la canción fue muy llamativa porque en la letra habla de su ex Travis McCoy con problemas con la dogra.

Letra

La canción es una canción de "odio" que escribió Katy Perry sobre su ex Travis McCoy. En la letra Katy le dice que el pudo haber sido el indicado pero prefirió drogarse y desperdiciar su futuro, ademas de decir que se quedaba dormido en la cama antes de jugar y que las píldoras que tomaba eran más fuerte a lo que conocemos. Y en el final dice que ella decide irse en vez de quedarse como su madre.[2]

La canción tuvo criticas positivas, junto con E.T. fueron las canciones llamadas oscuras del álbum. La canción fue llamada la más dura del álbum y criticada bastante por lo que trata la letra.[4]
