Skylight

Skylight es una obra de teatro del británico Sir David Hare. Se inauguró en 1995 en el Royal National Theatre y un año después (1996) en el Wyndham's Theatre. Ese mismo año se estrenó también en Broadway. Todas los producciones fueron dirigidas por Richard Eyre. Es una de las mejores obras de Hare, un autor de izquierdas cuyas obras, sin embargo, se estrenan sin problemas en el West End londinense como The breath of life (2002), con Maggie Smith y Judi Dench.

La historia, el reencuentro entre un empresario muy rico y una inteligente maestra de escuela de barrio pobre. A pesar de que los personajes se quieren con fervor, no muestran en ningún momento su pasión, que queda desangelada en un frío y superficial abrazo.
