El Ilyushin Il-112 fue un proyecto de transporte táctico con motor turbohélice, desarrollado por el fabricante aeronáutico Ilyushin en Rusia. El Il-112 estaba concebido como un carguero bimotor de ala alta, destinado a sustituír a los obsoletos Antonov An-24 y An-26 en servicio en la Fuerza Aérea Rusa.[1]

Desarrollo

La Fuerza Aérea Rusa tenía previsto adquirir un total de 70 aeronaves de este modelo.[2] Se había establecido que el primer vuelo del Il-112 tuviese lugar a finales del año 2011. No obstante, en mayo de 2011, el Ministerio de Defensa ruso decidió abandonar el programa del Il-112, adquiriendo en su lugar 7 aeronaves Antonov An-140, modificadas a una versión de transporte.[3]
