Jim Malloy (Columbus, Nebraska, 23 de mayo de 1935 - 18 de mayo de 1972) fue un piloto de carreras norteamericano.

Malloy murió como consecuencia de las heridas sufridas durante las prácticas para las 500 millas de Indianapolis de 1972.

Durante la sesión de práctica, él estaba tratando de superar la barrera de las 200 mph (320 km / h) cuando su coche misteriosamente giro bruscamente a la derecha y se estrelló de frente contra el muro de contención alrededor de 186 mph (299 km / h). Murió poco tiempo después de haber sido sacado de su auto destruido.
