Lane Smith

Walter Lane Smith III (Memphis, (Tennessee), 29 de abril de 1936 - Northridge, California, 13 de junio del 2005) fue un actor estadounidense.

Es principalmente conocido por sus apariciones en series de televisión, encarnando a personajes como Nathan Bates en la serie V, Perry White en la serie Lois & Clark y Richard Nixon en The Final Days, por la que fue nominado al Globo de oro.

Smith fue diagnosticado de esclerosis lateral amiotrófica en abril de 2005. Murió como consecuencia de esta enfermedad en su casa de Northridge, California el 13 de junio de 2005, a la edad de 69 años.[1]
