B’Day es el título del segundo álbum de estudio de la cantante y actriz Beyoncé Knowles. El disco salió a la venta el día 4 de septiembre de 2006 (coincidiendo con el vigésimo quinto aniversario de la cantante; posible razón por la que el disco lleve ese título). B’Day es el sucesor de Dangerously in love. Según Beyoncé, la productora le dio un tope de 6 semanas para grabar el disco; pero Beyoncé, en sólo 2 semanas, ya había grabado el álbum... Tras separarse de su grupo Destiny's Child, Beyoncé confesó no haber tenido ni un minuto de descanso. Sin embargo, la joven cantante, se encerró en el estudio de grabación, sin conocimiento de nadie, para crear algo que fuera, tal y como ella dijo, "para ella y cómo lo sentía"...

Beyoncé también declaró recientemente que había producido un total de 22 canciones; pero que sólo las 13 mejores iban a aparecer en B’Day.


Todas tienen su correspondiente video-clip (excepto Resentment).

En el primero, Déjà vu, Beyoncé se da cuenta de que está viviendo algo que ya ha vivido antes (de ahí el título “Déjà vu”, que proviene del francés y que significa “Ya visto”, “Ya vivido”). Un videoclip repleto de trajes, escenarios alucinantes, coreografías asombrosas, etc. Sin embargo, no ha sido muy bien aceptado por todos los seguidores conservadores de Beyoncé. Tanto es así, que recogieron firmas para pedir a la discográfica que regrabase el video, debido a su alto erotismo. Esto supuso una gran desilusión para la cantante, aunque no aceptó la regrabación... Dijo que ya era bastante mayor para bailar como ella considerase apropiado y que está muy orgullosa de su nuevo single.

El segundo single fue Ring the alarm, canción que trata de una chica a la que le han arrebatado el novio. Sin embargo. Poco después de Ring the alarm, sacó el sencillo Irreplaceable, el cual ha sido el único single que ha logrado despuntar. Existe además, una versión española de Irreplaceable, bajo el título de Irremplazable

Como parte de la banda sonora de su película Dreamgirls, también sacó el sencillo Listen.

El álbum conseguió el disco de platino en tan solo una semana.

The Beyoncé Experience fue la gira mundial en 2007 con la que la cantante y actriz Beyoncé Knowles promocionó su álbum, B'Day. La gira comenzó siete meses después del lanzamiento del disco, el día 10 de abril de 2007 (Tokyo), y finalizó el día 15 de septiembre de 2007 en Winnipeg (Canadá). El tour visitó Japón, Australia, Europa y América del Norte.

La canción Check on it queda excluida de esta edición (Excepto en Japon, en Estados Unidos y Europa). Con este disco, Beyoncé se propone conquistar al público hispano, y lo consigue.
