"Linger" es una canción de la banda de rock irlandesa The Cranberries perteneciente a su álbum debut Everybody Else Is Doing It, So Why Can't We? y publicada en 1994. La canción se convirtió en un gran éxito, llegando al número 3 en Irlanda, #8 en los Estados Unidos y #14 en el Reino Unido.

Fue compuesta por Dolores O'Riordan y Noel Hogan. En el documental 99 Love Life & Rock 'n' Roll que se encuentra incluido en el DVD Stars: The Best of Videos 1992 - 2002 Dolores dice que la canción esta inspirada en lo que fue su primer beso.

"Linger" ocupo el puesto #86 del ranking de las 100 mejores canciones de los 90' de VH1.

Vídeo musical

El vídeo trascurre totalmente en blanco y negro y comienza con la imagen de una luz intermitente para dar paso al rostro de Dolores, específicamente su ojo. Luego una linterna comienza a alumbrar distintos lugares de una casa que aparentemente es un burdel y está siendo investigado por un agente. La misma linterna alumbra a Dolores que comienza a interpretar la canción. Durante el resto del vídeo Dolores recorre los pasillos de la casa. También se pueden ver al resto de los integrantes de la banda en la misma.
