Modern Dog (Tailandés: โม เดิ ร์ น ด็ อก) es una banda de rock tailandés, se formó en 1992. Se dio a conocer su primer álbum en 1994, vendiendo alrededor de unos 500.000 copias. La banda ha publicado cinco álbumes de estudio, a la venta de un total de 2 millones de copias.

La banda en 2004, lanzaron un álbum que fue producido por Tony Doogan (Belle & Sebastian, Mogwai), con la canción escrita y compuesta por el bajista Yuka Honda de Cibo Matto. El álbum también incluyó apariciones de Yumiko Ohno de Buffalo Daughter y Sean Lennon. Contaba con tres singles que fueron el n º 1 en Tailandia.

Ampliando su alcance más allá de Tailandia, Modern Dog, han actuado en Tokio en 2003. En julio y agosto de 2006 la banda realiza una gira por Estados Unidos, incluyendo en un show en el Knitting Factory de Nueva York.
