My Brightest Diamond es un proyecto de la cantante, compositora y poli-instrumentista Shara Worden. La banda ha editado dos albumes de estudio: Bring Me The Workhorse (2006) y "A thousand Shark's Teeth" (2008); también se puede contar un albúm de remixes "Tear it Down", disponible solamente como descarga vía iTunes. Wordens a tocado también con Sufjan Stevens como miembro de los Illinoismakers y apareció en el albúm "Servants in Heaves, Kings in Hell", de Jedi Mind Tricks.
