Suncus ater es una especie de musaraña de la familia de los soricidae.

Distribución geográfica

Sólo se encuentra en el Monte Kinabalu, malaisi de Sabah (isla de Borneo).

Se ve amenazada de extinción por la pérdida de su hábitat natural.
