The Diary of Jane Single del grupo Estadounidense Breaking Benjamin, perteneciente al álbum Phobia. Lanzado el año 2006, alcanzó la posición 50 dentro de los top 100 del ranking billboard,[1] hasta ese momento, el mejor lugar alcanzado por la banda. Sin embargo, su popularidad se remarcó según la medición hot Mainstream Rock Tracks, también asociada a billboard, que mide la cantidad de veces que fue tocada una canción rock en las radios, en el cual lograron la segunda posición.

Revisión

Perteneciente al tercer disco de estudio de la banda, siendo el single de lanzamiento, producida por David Bendeth y escrita por Benjamin Burnley (vocalista del grupo), mostró un planteamiento potente, siendo bien recibida por el publico. Incluso, hizo su aparición (como contenido descargable) en los juego rock band 1 y 2,[2] así como también en el juego NASCAR 07

Video

El video de este tema, lanzado el 21 de julio del 2006, fue dirigido por Ryan Smith y protagonizado por Sarah Mather. Se observa a una mujer durmiendo en la bañera que, una vez despierta, ya no se ve reflejada en ningún espejo. Desesperada, corre por toda la casa pero la situación no cambia. Al final, se ve a Benjamin Burnley dejando una rosa en un diario sobre la tumba de Jane, de lo cual se infiere la muerte de la protagonista.
