The Sorrow, es una banda de death metal melodico / metalcore de Austria. La banda fue formada en el 2005 por Mathias Schlegl y Mäser Andreas (de la banda Disconnected and Immler Dominik), y Schädler Tobias de Distance. En el 2006, se firmo un contrato de grabacion con Drakkar Records, y en el 2007 lanzan su album debut Blessings from a Blackened Sky. En el año 2009 lanzan su segundo album titulado Origin Of The Storm y el 29 de octubre lanzan su tercer album (homonimo).
