El reverendo Thomas William Webb (14 de diciembre de 1807 - 19 de mayo de 1885) fue un astrónomo inglés. Algunas fuentes sugieren que su nacimiento tuvo lugar en 1806. Fue el único hijo de un reverendo. John Webb, fue criado y educado por su padre, su madre murió mientras era un niño.[1] Después fue a estudiar a la Universidad de Oxford donde entró en el Magdalen College. En 1829 fue ordenado sacerdote de la iglesia anglicana. Se casó con Henrietta Montague en 1843, hija de Mr. Arthur Wyatt, Monmouth. Mrs. Webb murió el 7 de septiembre de 1884,. Un año después murió Thomas el 19 de mayo de 1885.[1]

Escribió el libro de éxito Celestial Objects for Common Telescopes 1859.
