Tombos[1] es el nombre que recibe una ciudad y una isla de Sudán situada a la orilla este del Nilo, 10 km. al norte de Kerma, que fue capital de un reino de Nubia durante el segundo milenio antes de cristo. Fue habitado desde el período de Kerma, el lugar es el asentamiento más al sur de Nubia, posee un cementerio antiguo.
