Tricolor es la denominación que recibe una bandera que tiene tres franjas de igual tamaño, ya sean horizontales o verticales, y cada franja es de un color distinto.

Una de las primeras tricolores horizontales fue la bandera de los Países Bajos; y una de las primeras verticales fue la de Francia.
