En verano es tropical con una temperatura máxima de 37 grados y una mínima 17 grados: el invierno es acentuado con una temperatura máxima de 27 grados y una mínima de 12 grado.

Toponimia

Es una palabra de origen chichimeca que significa «lugar hermoso».[1]
