USS Jarvis

Tres buques de la Armada de los Estados Unidos han sido nombrados USS Jarvis en honor de James C. Jarvis.

  • El primer USS Jarvis (DD-38) fue un destructor Clase Paulding que entró en servicio en 1912, sirvió en la Primera Guerra Mundial y fue dado de baja en 1919.
  • El segundo USS Jarvis (DD-393) fue un destructor Clase Bagley que entró en servicio 1937, sirvió en la Segunda Guerra Mundial y se hundió en combate en agosto de 1942.
  • El tercer USS Jarvis (DD-799) fue un destructor de la clase Fletcher entró en servicio en 1944, sirvió en la Segunda Guerra Mundial y en la Guerra de Corea. Fue transferido a la Armada Española en el año 1960.
