USS Scorpion.

USS Scorpion (SSN-589) fue un submarino nuclear de la Marina de Estados Unidos de islas Azores, sus restos se encuentran a una profundidad de 3,000 m. El USS Scorpion es uno de los dos submarinos nucleares que ha perdido la U.S. Navy, el otro es el USS Thresher (SSN-593), que se hundió el 10 de abril de 1963 frente a las costas de New England.^[1]
