Wavre (en neerlandés:Waver, en valón:Wave) es una ciudad belga, capital de la provincia del Brabante Valón en la región de Valonia que tiene 32.201 habitantes. El municipio incluye las villas de Limal y Bierges y forma parte de la Comunidad francesa de Bélgica. Está rodeada por los municipios de Ottignies-Louvain-la-Neuve, Rixensart, Overijse, Huldenberg, Grez-Doiceau y Chaumont-Gistoux, y es atravesado por el río Dyle.
