Barre es una ciudad del Condado de Worcester, Massachusetts, Estados Unidos. La población, según el censo del año 2000 asciende a 5.113 habitantes.

Los primeros asentamientos en Barre comenzarón en 1720 y se incorporó oficialmente a los Estados Unidos el 17 de junio de 1774 como Hutchinson. Más tarde, el 7 de noviembre de 1776 adoptó el nombre actual: Barre. Ocupa una extensión de 115km², de los que 114,8 son tierra y 0,7 son agua.
