Typha latifolia (totora, junco de esteras, espadaña, enea, anea', bayón, bayunco, bohordo, henea, junco de la pasión, maza de agua) es una especie botánica de plantas herbáceas perennes del género Typha, que crece en áreas templadas subtropical y tropicales del Hemisferio Norte; en regiones pantanosas. Florece de mediados a fines del verano.

Esta sp. comparte su distribución con otras sp. emparentadas, y se hibridiza con Typha angustifolia, de hojas más angostas, formando Typha x glauca (Typha angustifolia x T. latifolia).

Alcanza 1,5 a 3 m de altura y sus hojas 2-4 cm de ancho.
