Abraham B. Yehoshúa

A. B. Yehoshúa o Abraham 'Buli' Yehoshúa (אברהם ב. יהושע) (Jerusalén, 1936) escritor israelí. Ha sido galardonado con el Premio Bialik y el Premio Israel.

Yehoshúa pertenece a una quinta generación de judíos sefarditas instalados en Israel. Tras estudiar en la Universidad Hebrea de Jerusalén, se dedicó a la docencia. De 1963 a 1967, vivió en París. Es miembro de la Universidad de Haifa desde 1972.

Comenzó su carrera literaria tras el servicio militar en Tsáhal.

Escritor prolífico, se le considera uno de los mejores escritores modernos de Israel. Se ha comprometido en favor del proceso de paz entre israelíes y palestinos participando en la iniciativa de Ginebra.
