Build God, Then We'll Talk es el quinto y oficialmente último sencillo de la banda Panic! at the Disco de su disco debut, A Fever You Can't Sweat Out.

Información de la canción

La melodía de "Build God, Then We'll Talk" es un derivado de la melodíara del coro de My Favorite Things de la banda The Sound of Music. El título de la canción se origina de una cita de la novela de Chuck Palahniuk, Choke.

La canción trata sobre un abogado joven que mantiene relaciones sexuales con una prostituta. Pero el abogado no sabe que la prostituta tenía un arreglo con la policía.

Video musical

La premiere del video fue dada el día 5 de marzo del 2007 y la canción fue escrita por el guitarrista de la banda Ryan Ross.

El video trata de una historia de un "mimo pornográfico" y una mujer que se enamora de él luego de ver una de sus obras. Su relación es "mímica". Ambas relaciones tiene un sentido falso de intimidad y se encuentran desprovistas de significado. Ambos, el mimo y su novia, tiene una aventura amorosa mímica, simbolizando el vació de su relación. No tienen relaciones sexuales con personas reales - es una ilusión. El video de la banda es el primero que sólo es exclusivo para internet, principalmente porque era muy vulgar para la televisión.
