Un típico campus board en unas instalaciones para entrenamiento de escalada.

El Campus Board es una herramienta para el entrenamiento de la escalada en roca. Usualmente fabricado con unas regletas de madera dispuestas sobre una plancha también de madera formando una especie de escalera, colgado de forma inclinada formando un ángulo con la pared de entre 15 y 20 grados. Los escaladores suben y bajan usando solo sus manos, alternando el uso de dedos para desarrollar la fuerza de dedos y el tren superior. Fue inventado por Wolfgang Güllich en 1988 para ayudarse en el entrenamiento de una nueva ruta, Action Directe, que requería una fuerza dinámica de dedos extrema. La tabla estuvo colgada por primera vez en un gimnasio llamado 'The Campus Centre', de aquí el nombre de la tabla y del estilo de escalada que requiere solo brazos.
