"A single" es el séptimo sencillo editado por la banda británica The Cure. Es la primera edición especial que editaron en su carrera. Fue lanzado como un paquete doble de dos vinilos de 7 pulgadas que contienen cuatro temas pertenecientes al álbum Pornography de 1982. También se lanzó en formato de un sólo sencillo de 10 pulgadas, con las mismas cuatro canciones y en 7 pulgadas, conteniendo sólamente The Hanging Garden y Killing an Arab.

El título oficial del sencillo es A Single (en inglés Un sencillo), si bien suele mencionarse como The Hanging Garden para evitar confusiones.

El sencillo alcanzó el puesto 34 en las listas británicas de sencillos.
