Abbeymead

Abbeymead es un moderno y popular barrio de la ciudad de Gloucester, en el condado de Gloucestershire, Inglaterra. Se encuentra a unos 4,5 kilómetros del centro de la ciudad y está rodeado por otros barrios y suburbios de Gloucester: Abbeydale al oeste y suroeste, por el noroeste está Coney Hill, Barnwood y Hucclecote al norte y noreste y la autopista M5 al este. Las primeras casas de Abbeymead se construyeron en la década de los 80 con la apertura de la arteria principal Abbeymead Avenue y posteriormente otros sectores se han ido desarrollando alrededor de ésta, hasta convertir Abbeymead en una de las zonas más populosas de la ciudad de Gloucester. Administrativamente el barrio se divide en tres sectores.
