Citlalicue

Citlalicue (náhuatl: Citlalicue, 'vestida de estrellas' )?, Citlalinicue, o Citlalcueye era una diosa mexica, creadora de las estrellas.

Alguna referencias describen a Citlalatonac (náhuatl: Citlalatonac, 'brillo de estrellas' )? como el marido de Citlalicue, y también creador de las estrellas. Otras aseguran que Citlalatonac es simplemente otro nombre de la misma diosa.[1]

A veces se considera a Mixcóatl, también patrono de la Vía Láctea como esposo de Citlalicue.[1]

Esta pareja de dioses a veces se asocia con la primera de humanos, Nata y Nena.

Ilamatecuhtli (náhuatl: Ilamatecuhtli, 'señora vieja' )? podría ser uno de los nombres de Citlalicue, de Cihuacóatl o de Chicomecóatl.[1]
