Poa flabellata (sin. Parodiochloa flabellata, Festuca flabellata, Dactylis caespitosa, D. coespitosa), es una especie de planta de flores perteneciente a la familia Poaceae, es nativa del sur de Sudamérica y de las islas Malvinas. Fue introducida en Escocia como una fuente de alimento para los animales y por su habilidad para crecer en condiciones hostiles. Crecen en densos matojos, usualmente de 2 metros de altura [e incluso pueden ser mayores), en las tierras costeras húmedas donde predomina en el paisaje.
