David Elazar

David "Dado" Elazar (1925 - 1976), fue el noveno Comandante General de las Fuerzas de Defensa de Israel, desempeñando ese servicio de 1972 a 1974. Lo forzaron a dimitir como consecuencia de la Guerra de Yom Kipur y la perdida por parte de Israel de la península de Sinaí en favor de Egipto.
