Don't Break the Oath es el segundo álbum de estudio y el fin de la banda Mercyful Fate.

Fue publicado mundialmente en 1984 bajo el sello Roadrunner Records y producido enteramente por Hendrik Lund. En 1997 se lanzó una versión remasterizada que contenía un remix inédito. Siendo uno de los álbumes más exitosos de Mercyful Fate, liricamente trata de Satanás y el ocultismo.

El sitio web Metal-Rules.com lo nombra como el mejor disco de metal extremo de todos los tiempos.^[1] El regreso oficial de Mercyful Fate se dio en 1993 con el álbum In the Shadows.
