Donax es un género monotípico de plantas herbáceas perteneciente a la familia Marantaceae. Su única especie: Donax canniformis (G.Forst.) K.Schum., Bot. Jahrb. Syst. 15: 440 (1892), es originaria de Taiwán, Indochina y el oeste del Pacífico.
