Ethon

En la mitología griega, El Águila de Prometeo, El Águila Kaukasios o Ethon fue un águila gigante nacido de los monstruos Tifón y Equidna. Como castigo por robar el fuego del Monte Olimpo, Zeus encadenó a Prometeo a una columna de las montañas del Cáucaso, donde Ethon le iba comiendo el hígado durante todo el día, pero durante la noche le volvía a crecer, repitiéndose la operación durante años.
