Family Mart ( ファミリーマート) es una cadena de "konbini" o tiendas mini-super en Japón. Se fundó el primero de septiembre de 1981, y es manejada por FamilyMart Co., Ltd.

Extensión

Con la inauguración de la sucursal de Hon-Chou, Ichi-Jou en Sapporo en Julio del 2006, se convirtió en la tercera más grande cadena de konbini después de Lawson y 7- Eleven. Family Mart cuenta en el 2007 con casi 7,000 sucursales en todo Japón.Family Mart tiene tiendas en Tailandia, Corea del Sur, Taiwan y Shanghái, China. Se tiene planeado abrir 250 en norteamerica con el nombre de Famima!!.

Productos y Servicios

Todas las tiendas de Family Mart en Japón venden abarrotes, revistas y periódicos, comida preparada incluyendo obento, nikuman, pollo frito y onigiri así como artículos de papelería, artículos de tocador, etc. Algunas tiendas venden artículos de la línea MUJI. En un proyecto junto con Toshiba e Itochu se ha probado un sistema de autocobro. Así mismo, recientemente se ha lanzado un servicio de mensajería junto con Yahoo You Pack."
