Grupo fundado por Iron Man (Tony Stark), Wonder Man (Simon Williams), Scarlet Witch (Wanda Maximoff), Spider Woman (Julia Carpenter) y USAgent (John Walker).

Este grupo se formó después que se disolviera los vengadores costa oeste. En su primera misión, donde fueron atacados Visión y Wonder man por los Kree, falleció (aparentemente) Wonder Man producto de una explosión de un cañón de iones. Luego de esto la Bruja Escarlata creó un hechizo que fortuitamente trajo a Siglo a este plano de existencia lo que mostró el camino a los Dispersos. Luego de una gran batalla se pudo derrotar a los dispersos mandándolos al otro lado de la galaxia.


Los Force Works o Fuerza de Choque, como se conocieran en habla hispana, estuvieron involucrados en varias sagas de los vengadores, donde podemos mencionar venganza estelar y la más importante, La Encrucijada donde se descubre que un vengador, producto de las maquinaciones de Kang, crea un cañón temporal con la finalidad de destruir este linea temporal. este vengador caído es .... Iron Man. Los Vengadores en su afán por derrotar a Tony Stark buscan a uno más joven, capaz de derrotar a su yo más viejo.

Luego de este crossover que involucró las colecciones de Vengadores, Fuerza de Choque y Maquina de Guerra, y de la muerte de Tony Stark (viejo) se disolvió Fuerza de Choque, quedando sus integrantes en otros Grupos de seres poderosos.
