Frank Longbottom

Frank Longbottom es uno de los personajes ficticios de la saga de novelas Harry Potter creado por la escritora británica J. K. Rowling. Hijo de Augusta Longbottom y padre de Neville Longbottom, estudió en el Colegio Hogwarts de Magia y Hechicería en Gryffindor, donde fue uno de los estudiantes más inteligentes de todo el colegio. Es un año mayor que Lily y James Potter. Está casado con Alice Longbottom. Es torturado por Bellatrix Lestrange hasta llegar a la locura. Vive en una sala de confinamiento en el Hospital San Mungo de Enfermedades y Heridas Mágicas. Él y Alice jamás se recuperan.

Su única aparición es en el quinto libro, cuando Harry y demás visitan a Arthur Weasley en San Mungo y por accidente se encuentran ahí con Neville y su abuela visitando a Frank y Alice. En ese texto, su varita es utilizada por su hijo quien en un intento de salvar la profecía.
