Giovan Maria Cecchi

Giovan Maria Cecchi (1518 - 1587) es un poeta y dramaturgo italiano nacido en Florencia en 1518 y fallecido en Galgalandi en 1587. Es uno de los renovadores del teatro italiano del Renacimiento. Escribió obras religiosas y comedias mundanas inspiradas libremente en Plauto y Terencio. Destacan sus obras Comedias y Dramas espirituales.
