Gottfried Heinrich Bach (1724 - 1763) fue un hijo de Johann Sebastian Bach y Anna Magdalena Bach.

Biografía

Nació en Leipzig, Alemania, con retraso mental; los biógrafos de J. S. Bach indican que pese a todo estaba inclinado hacia la música y especialmente al clavicémbalo, escribiendo obras farragosas e ininteligibles pero bien elaboradas; en palabras de su hermano Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach: "Fue un genio, pero que no se desarrolló". Probablemente una pequeña pieza para teclado y el aria So oft ich meine Tobackspfeife del Libro de Anna Magdalena le pertenecen.

A la muerte de su padre en 1750 quedó al cuidado de su madre hasta que el yerno de Bach, Johann Christoph Altnickol, casado con su hermana Elisabeth Juliane, se hizo cargo de él.
