Guess? es una marca de líneas de ropa a nivel mundial. Usa como emblema el signo de interrogación ?. Es conocida por su publicidad con alto contenido sexual, en la que destacan anuncios de televisión y las archiconocidas vallas publicitarias. Estas se caracterizan por ser fotos en blanco y negro, que hicieron popular a modelos de la talla de Claudia Schiffer, Valeria Mazza, Drew Barrymore, Anna Nicole Smith y Paris Hilton.

Guess también produce accesorios de ropa, como relojes y joyería.

Historia

Guess? fue fundada por los hermanos Marciano a principio de los años 1980, y desde entonces ha crecido y se ha convertido en uno de los principales diseñadores de tejanos.

Los Marcianos nacieron en marruecos y crecieron en el sur de Francia y fueron influenciados por la cultura y sentido del estilo en la región. Ellos fundaron Guess? en 1981 y vendieron sus primeros tejanos en Bloomingdales. Los primeros tejanos Guess? fueron unos con estilo de tres cremalleras, y fueron llamados 'Marilyn'.

Tiendas

Está presente en muchos países del mundo y en la mayoría de los países de Europa, con presencia en países latinoamericanos como Brasil, Colombia, Puerto Rico, Venezuela,México, Ecuador teniendo dos tiendas una en Quito y otra en Guayaquil y últimamente con una tienda en Santiago de Chile, con motivo de su expansión en el hemisferio sur. Guess pretende expandirse en Latinoamérica con la apertura de 8 tiendas a 2011 en Chile, donde se expandiran a Argentina y Uruguay.
